Are you frustrated that you can’t find a parking spot for your compact car in Portland? Why not avoid the hassle and just park in your living room?

That idea doesn’t seem crazy if you take a look at a new, over-the-top condo building, the Porsche Design Tower, in South Florida, where cars are on display behind glass walls that separate the living room from the garage.

Owners can steer their autos into one of three Dezervators, glass, drive-in elevators that rise at a hard-to-believe 600 feet a minute, according to marketing materials. The Jetsons-like gadgets stop at the homeowners’ personal sky garage.

From their two-story-high living room, owners can turn away from the Atlantic Ocean view and instead monitor the static status of their Porsche, Ferrari and Tesla Model X.

According to developer Gil Dezer, 22 billionaires have purchased homes here, with at least one owner coughing up $32.5 million for the four-level penthouse. The smallest of the 132 units is 3,800 square feet and priced at $4 million.

The allure? You don’t have to park on the street or even in an underground garage.

Keys to the luxury pads, located on Sunny Isles, a sliver of the Atlantic Ocean between Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale, are scheduled to be turned over to owners Sept. 1.

As reported by TopTenRealEstateDeals.com, the building broke ground in 2014, and 95 percent of the units are sold.

Car Elevator - Porsche Tower Miami

The Porsche penthouse occupies 16,915 square feet, across the 57th, 58th, 59th and 60th floors. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls and 20-foot-high ceilings frame the ocean views. The four master suites can be converted into six bedrooms, according to marketing materials.

What’s in the kitchen? Miele wine cooler, induction cooktop, speed-microwave oven and warming drawers. The Poggenpohl-designed kitchen also has high-tech motorized doors as well as expansive marble islands to prep food for a large party.

And how it works? After vehicles are scanned, owners can drive them onto a ‘turntable’ that will align the automobile with the elevator. After entering the turntable the car can already be turned off. Once it is aligned the lift opens and a robotic system pulls it into the elevator.

There are seven bathrooms boasting Toto toilets with integrated bidet functions, and, of course, a private people elevator that opens directly into the residence.

Step outside of the pricey penthouse on the third level to see the terrace pool and the fourth level to jump into the roof pool. Or just stroll outside to two balconies or whip up a meal in one of two summer kitchens.

Sky Garage - Porsche Condo
Porsche condo offers two options of residence sky-garage: 1 – Same level as the living room 2 – One level down (as in the picture)

In addition to two sky garages, the penthouse comes with a 3,000-square-foot car gallery that can be customized with a bar, billiards table and extra living room, according to marketing materials.

The $560 million residential tower’s three-story lobby has a glass car elevator observatory, movie theater, game room and private wine locker. On the ocean side, there is a restaurant with indoor-outdoor dining, bar, lounge with large fireplace and large-screen TVs, and pool.

For added pleasure, there’s a sunset deck, virtual golf and car race simulators, ballroom, spa and a car concierge staff ready to shine the tires.
