Miami Beach Florida

Miami Beach is the most popular destination for those visiting Miami. Besides offering wonderful beachs, the neighborhood is also famous for nightclubs, great restaurants, bars and the largest collection of art deco architecture in the world, known as The Art Deco District Miami. The highest expression of this architecture is in the trendy Ocean Drive, the main avenue of Miami Beach, which is along the seaside. At night the avenue gets new life as hotels and bars connect their signs in colorful neon. Across the Ocean Drive in a wide strip before the beach there is a linear park (Lummus Park) where in its boardwalk many people walk, do exercises, run, go rollerblading, skateboarding or riding a bicycle. Very beautiful people and of different styles parade down the sidewalks of Ocean Drive during the day and at night.

Generally all Miami Beach waterfront offers excellent beaches, with full infrastructure for tourists. A feature of the beaches of Miami, and very expressive in Miami Beach, are the colorful lifesaver stations spread by the seaside which constitute a postcard of the city.

South Beach, as the name implies, is the southern part of Miami Beach Island. Also called Sobe (So = South // Be = Beach) is the liveliest area of the city and where are the most famous nightclubs. The South Beach is the best in the region and is often frequented by celebrities.

When in South Beach be sure to stroll down Lincoln Road. The avenue is restricted to pedestrians. In its boardwalk, many bars and restaurants invite you to have lunch or just a drink. Lincoln Road also has many stores and, therefore, is also known as Lincoln Road Mall, a true open-air mall.

The southern part of South Beach, below Fifth Street, is called “Sofi” (So-uth of Fi-fth = So-Fi). This is an area in the shape of a triangle, where north is Fifth Street and the other two sides (right and left) are limited by seawater. It is one of the most desirable areas of Miami Beach and also one of the most valuable square meters of the city.

Regarding Miami Beach Real Estate, Sofi is also famous for its luxury condominiums: Glass, Portofino Tower, Apogee South Beach,Icon, Murano Grande, Murano at Portofino, Continuum Towers, Ocean House, South Pointe Tower and The Yacht Club At Portofino.

It is in Sofi where are also two of the most traditional restaurants in Miami: Smith & Wollensky and Joe’s Stone Crab.

In the southern end of South Beach is the South Pointe Park. The park is characterized by walkways, impeccable garden, many green areas and complete infrastructure for both adults and children as well as being pet friendly. All with a spectacular view of the Miami Beach sea. Who goes to South Pointe Park can utilize bathrooms, freshwater showers, restaurants, playground and, at the end, a wooden pier for those who want to advance on the sea and enjoy the waters of Miami Beach.
