The name “Ola” comes from “Hola”, the spanish word for “Hello”. And this is how The OLA Miami Restaurant at the Sanctuare in South Beach greets everyone. OLA is famous for its Latin American Cuisine, with some oriental influence (See location & Contact info at the end of this post).
MUST-HAVES AT OLA
The ceviches has the signature of the renowned Chef Douglas Rodriguez, internationally known to be “The Godfather of Nuevo Latino Cuisine”. More than 10 types of ceviches seasoned with citrus and a variety of different spices are waiting for you at OLA Miami. Three must-have appetizers are the 1 – Mixto Ceviche, 2 – Fire & Ice Ceviche and 2 – Lobster empanada (pictures and descriptions below).
NOT INTO SUSHI?
And if you are not into sushi or sashimi, don’t worry! The place also offers a tasty menu of steaks and meats (“churrasco” prepaired). For dessert my recommendation is the Key Lime Pie.
HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT WATERMELON MOJITO?
If you like mojitos, Ola restaurant is also known for its best mojitos in Miami Beach. In addition to the classic mojito with rum, lemon and mint, you can also ask for the special flavors: coconut, grean tea and watermelon.
For wine lovers, The Wine List at Ola Miami is handpicked to complement the different dishes.
CELEBRATE AT OLA RESTAURANT
And if you’re looking for a nice restaurant or place to celebrate that special moment, Ola offers on the second floor a private “super trendy” ambient for parties and gatherings with friends.
