Coconut Grove was always known for being artsy/hippie. It was a huge hot spot, died down and is now going through a renaissance with new and trendy bars, restaurants, shops, residences and hotels. It’s definitely more bougie now but has managed to keep a boho vibe, which is what is unique to the area. The Grove (as the locals call it) is still so special.
