There will be a new Amazon Fresh location in South Florida. This time, the high-tech super market is coming to West Boca Raton. In fact, Amazon Fresh had no locations in the Southeast previously. Right now, the E-commerce giant is working on a national rollout of the supermarkets. The locations will be like nothing South Florida has experienced before.
This high-tech shopping experience will offer innovating ways to shop. For example, customers will be able to ask Alexa for help when finding items around the store. There are only a few Amazon supermarkets in the country. The first one opened up in September in Los Angeles. Eleven more opened up in California and Illinois after that.
As for the Amazon Fresh location in South Florida, it will open at Uptown Boca. The grocery store space was expanded by 25% to 35,000 square feet to fit Amazon’s requirements. Retail experts expect more Amazon Fresh locations to open up in the area in the near future. The grocery delivery business thrived during the pandemic; a trend that is likely to endure. Amazon Fresh will offer free delivery for Amazon Prime members.
