One of the biggest artistic events in the world, Art Basel Miami Beach, returns to Miami in person after having been suspended in 2020. The fair marks the return of Brazilian mass tourism, with the reopening of US borders to several countries, including Brazil. Art Basel started on Thursday (2) and will remain open to the public until the 4th (Saturday).
The event, one of the most important fairs in the United States, returned to Florida with 253 galleries featuring artists from 36 different countries. There are thousands of collectors, artists and art lovers circulating through the works, which include media, paintings, sculptures, photographs and also digital works.
Despite having returned in person, Art Basel has not discontinued the virtual version, developed during the pandemic period, when it was suspended. The hybrid format allows to take the event virtually to a global scope with online visualization of the rooms among other channels. Check on the official website.

International tourist returns to the real estate market
Unable to travel to Miami, many international tourists, who have always occupied the top of the ranking among the biggest buyers of real estate in the city, had to wait. Some even bought at a distance, as the physical presence of the buyer is not mandatory. In this sense, Florida relaxed the rules and brought a great advance to the real estate market, allowing the entire purchase process to be done at a distance, with few exceptions.
However, some cultures have not yet assimilated very well to distance shopping! The buyer wants to be present and see the property in person. It created, therefore, a repressed demand that has now arrived in full force with the reopening of borders.
