The city of Boca Raton, Florida, is considered one of the most luxurious in the world and a favorite destination for many Americans who choose the “Sunshine State” to retire. Located in Palm Beach County, very close to Miami, Boca is a charming destination, with pleasant weather all year round and beautiful beaches. All the beaches of Boca Raton are inside parks, with great natural wealth. They offer excellent infrastructure to visitors, such as parking, bathrooms, showers and areas for picnic and barbecue. Most also offer chair rental services. In this post we’ll discuss the best beaches in Boca Raton and surroundings.

South Inlet Park

South Inlet Park is the best known and one of the best beaches in Boca Raton. It is inside a park with all the infrastructure for visitors. The beach is well cared for, clean and the water temperature is super nice. There is a small playground for the children. In a reserved part it is possible to practice surfing. See visitor reviews on TripAdvisor

South Beach Park

South Beach Park is a little more reserved, since it is not as visited as South Inlet Park. With calm waters and white sand, it is ideal for the whole family. Children love it! Some activities that are possible on this beach include: snorkeling, fishing and surfing. If you do not find vacancies in the paid parking lots on the beach, it is possible to stop on the avenues, next to the shop and walk to the beach.

Red Reef Park in Boca Raton

Red Reef Park is a remote and paradisiacal beach. It is out of the city in the midst of a preserved natural area. Ideal for relaxing and spending time with family since the water is calm and crystal clear. In some places it is possible to advance a good distance and the water will still hit the knee, making it look like a natural pool. The whole park is very well maintained and preserved.

In Red Reef Park you can surf, snorkel and even fish. Also take the opportunity to visit the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, which is next door and is one of the main attractions of the city.

There are no snack bars or restaurants in Red Reef Park, but the infrastructure to enjoy the beach is complete: paid parking on site (between $16 and $20), lifeguards, clean bathrooms, showers and picnic/barbecue areas. It is also possible to rent chairs for approximately $10/hour.
