This past Sunday (24) took place the Boca Bash, the informal meeting of boats in the city of Boca Raton. The traditional event takes place every year on the last Sunday of April at Lake Boca.
Boca Bash, unlike the famous Miami International Boat Show and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, is not supported or organized by the city. Police and other security forces, however, are heading to the place to ensure order, as the celebrations are always very lively. There are hundreds of boats that come together for a day of excitement and fun.
This year it was a little more complicated to get the boats in the water, as the Boca Raton ramp was closed for works. It was necessary to use the Pompano Beach, Deerfield or Boyton Beach ramps.
