The Brightline train company announced that the Aventura and Boca Raton stations have already started operating. They opened yesterday (21st) and will stop every two hours during normal hours and every hour during peak hours.

The stretch from downtown Miami to Aventura will be nonstop and should take approximately 15 minutes. From Aventura to Boca Raton, it will take about 50 minutes and make two stops. For more information about timetables and prices, check the Brightline official website.

The two stations will be similar to the existing ones (Downtown Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach), offering lounges and easy access to public transportation.

Brightline has been conquering new territories and stretches in South Florida every year, which until then was lacking in train lines. The company expands its operations at a good time, when Florida appears on the world map as one of the most desired destinations in the world to live and invest.

Brightline stations in Aventura and Boca have already opened. What about Orlando?

But what about the long-awaited Miami – Orlando stretch?

The long-awaited and desired Miami – Orlando stretch is not yet operational, but it has already been tested and will open soon, with an expected opening next fall.

The estimated travel time from Miami to Orlando will be just over 3 hours. Train speeds can reach up to 125 miles per hour (approximately 202 km per hour) between Cocoa Beach and Orlando International Airport.

The new high-speed route between Florida’s two major markets will revolutionize mobility in the Sunshine State, directly impacting real estate in both cities and surrounding areas.
