Edgewater is an amazing Miami neighborhood close to downtown. Right now, the neighborhood is already dense with great real estate projects. However, new high-rises are on the way. In fact, at least two new projects are on the works. The Edgewater real estate scene is about to boom as projects that stretch from Northeast 15th Street to the Julia Tuttle Causeway are underway.
One of the new Edgewater real estate projects includes the redevelopment of the 3.5-acre waterfront site at 2121 North Bayshore Drive. Allegedly, there are plans to demolish the existing condo and replace it with multiple buildings.
Another project to look out for is a rental project from Melo Group. The plan includes a pair of 15-story buildings. In addition, already in permitting are also a pair of 60-story high rises. If the projects get approved, the Melo Group plans to start construction on both projects late this year.
