Recently, Kushner Companies got the approval to start working on a four-tower, mixed-use project in Fort Lauderdale. The project will include 1,300 apartments, office and retail, and maybe a hotel. In fact, construction is likely to start in the first quarter of 2022, and finish in phases by 2026. The final approval was given by the Fort Lauderdale City Commission this week. The development will be located in a 4.2-acre development site.
The mixed-use project is still on its conceptual stages. Right now, the company is interviewing architectural firms for the project. However, they have not picked one yet. In fact, the project still remains unnamed. Kushner Companies, however, have other sites in South Florida. In fact, the company broke ground in March for Wynd 27 and Wynd 28. This is also a mixed-use project located in Wynwood. In addition, the company is also planning to break ground on another project on June 17. This will mark the start of construction of 2000 Biscayne.
