One Brickell City Center is the name of the newest and most revolutionary commercial tower in Florida, to be built adjacent to the famous Brickell City Centre mall. The building will be about 305 meters tall, earning it the title of Florida’s tallest commercial tower when delivered. There will be almost 150 thousand square meters of area dedicated to offices. The start of works is scheduled for 2023.
Tower users will have easy access to the Brickell City Center mall, as the tower will be connected to the mall, which offers more than 45,000 square meters of entertainment, including shops, restaurants and other establishments.
With the new tower, the Brickell neighborhood fights to maintain itself as the great financial district of Miami, known as the “Manhattan of the South”. The neighborhood, which is traditionally a commercial district and famous for housing large office buildings, has gained “residential” touches in recent years with several developments aimed at residents. Today the Brickell neighborhood is one of the most sought after by investors, residents and tourists looking for a second home in Florida.
Other Miami neighborhoods, like Aventura, have come to rival Brickell in attracting companies, banks and other financial institutions in recent years. Aventura until then is a predominantly residential area, but it started to attract offices in recent years.
Super Tower (Supertalls) in Miami
The city of Miami has been gaining prominence in the world with its new supertalls developments. Other super tall towers under construction are the Waldorf Astoria Tower (Downtown), Bentley Residences (Sunny Isles Beach), The St Regis (Sunny Isles Beach) and Major Residences (Brickell).
