The popular South Florida neighborhood, Pinecrest, will be getting a new public park. The Village of Pinecrest has recently purchased a 3.7-acre lot for $3.75 million. The park will be located at 6610 SW 88th St. The property was first listed for $4.4 million. In addition, it was first intended for either one single-family home per acre or multifamily and condo buildings. However, because amenities are an integral part of a growing community, the area is set to become a public park.
Once the Village of Pinecrest develops the area, it will become a safe and pleasant place for people to enjoy the outdoor environment. The park will remain in place until at least the end of 2023. The area remains one of the most sought-after single-family home markets in the county. Right now, the median sales price in the area is $1.4 million for a single-family home.
