The Bal Harbour Village community recently released illustrative renderings of the new Waterfront Park, a revitalization of the existing park at the corner of 96th Street and Bal Bay Drive. The renderings, made available by Zyscovich Architects, show that the project also features a two-story community center, where it is possible to contemplate the view from the second floor.
The new Waterfront Park will also feature an amphitheater, playground, splash pad, fountains, waterfront promenades, lush landscaping, sports areas, event space, parking and much more.
The park was designed in conjunction with local residents and the first phase of the project has already been completed, in front of the current City Hall. The design of the new park was conceived by architect Bernard Zyscovich, who is also responsible for the expansion of the Bal Harbour Shops, which will double in size.

Bal Harbour is an exclusive community north of Miami Beach and south of Sunny Isles Beach. It is one of the most upscale neighborhoods in Florida, with luxury condominiums and hotels by the sea. The serene community, nicknamed the “Village”, has idyllic beaches with white sand and is considerably different from the bustling more central neighborhoods of the city.
The revitalization of Waterfront Park is in line with the transformations that Bal Harbour Village is going through, accompanying the projection of the city of Miami on the international stage.

The community will also receive a new pier in the coming years, as a result of the revitalization of the pier that currently exists on the border of the neighborhood. The new The Cut Walk Jetty will feature tours that advance over the ocean, landscaping, social spaces, bike paths, among other attractions.
