Universal Orlando announced yesterday afternoon (May 13) that it will reopen CityWalk today, after the attraction was temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The reopening will be phased and with limitations. Only a few stores will open from Thursday, from 4 pm to 10 pm, daily. The group emphasized the obligation to follow the rules and security measures in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Some venues will remain temporarily closed at this time including Blue Man Group, all nightclubs, and Universal Cinemark. Universal also informed that they will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as needed. Additional venues may be added over time, and hours of operation are subject to change.

Universal CityWalk in Orlando is Universal’s entertainment and leisure center, similar to Disney Springs , where, in the period previous to the pandemic, it was possible to shop, eat in great restaurants, enjoy ballads, concert halls and many other attractions.
