The Dezer family, which owns Dezer Development, one of Florida’s largest luxury homebuilders, is also famous for its obsession with cars. Michael and Gil Dezer revolutionized the luxury real estate industry with the construction of the Porsche Design Tower residential tower in Sunny Isles Beach. The gigantic cylindrical building facing the ocean allows owners to park their cars inside the apartment, thanks to a high-tech car elevator, called Dezervator (Dezer + elevator). Currently, the Dezer family’s newest project in Miami is the Bentley Residences condominium, in partnership with the British brand Bentley Motors, which will also offer Dezervator to residents.
The Dezer family owns the largest private car collection in the world. There are more than a thousand cars from the most classic to the most luxurious. The pieces can be seen at the family-run museum, the Dezer Car Collection & Museum and Pavilion.
The family also owns Dezerland Park, an indoor theme park present in Miami and Orlando, where you will soon be able to see the world’s longest car, a 33-feet-long limousine. The rarity figures today in Guinness World Records as the largest limousine in the world.
Have you ever seen a 100 feet limousine?
That’s right! 110 feet long…
It is much bigger than a semi-Olympic swimming pool. Incidentally, the limousine has a small jacuzzi in the back.
The car was recently restored by the Dezer family in partnership with Michael Manning, owner of a technical school on Long Island. Below the video:
The restoration cost $250,000. In addition to the hot tub, the limousine has a helipad in the back (see the video above for the helicopter landing).
Branded condos by Dezer family
We have already mentioned above the two “branded” buildings in partnership with major automobile brands. They are Porsche Design and the recently announced Bentley Residences. The Dezer family also partners with other world-renowned brands such as Armani Casa (Residences by Armani Casa) and the famous Trump Towers.
Miami is also home to the Aston Martin Tower in Brickell. This one was not developed by the Dezer family, but by an Argentinian group. The city has been standing out for offering branded residences with several world-renowned brands, such as Baccarat Residences, Waldorf Astoria Tower, Ritz Carlton Residences, among others.
Many international mega-investors prefer properties linked to big brands for their exclusivity and quality standards.
