Brightline and Disney Group announced a new train station to be built in Disney Springs, reported Orlando Sentinel! The exact place where the train station will be was not disclosed by Brightline. Disney Springs is a strategic place for the company, once the area is close to important roads in Orlando, such as I-4.
The passenger-rail company had previously announced that it was in talks with Disney over a stop near its theme parks as part of a planned extension from the airport to Tampa. Service from South Florida to Orlando’s airport is to start in 2022.
