Residential communities in Orange and Osceola counties lead the ranking of new construction in the Orlando and central Florida. The highlights are the ChampionsGate communities, Lake Nona and Waterleigh, reported the Orlando Business Journal.
The three account for the highest level of activity in new construction in the months of April to June. For these neighborhoods, sales exceeded the number of launches. Single-family style homes in Orlando are the most sought after, especially after the advent of the pandemic.
In Orlando, home sales in August continued their escalation in the summer. In August, 3,539 homes were sold in the region, an increase of 4.2% compared to 3,397 homes sold in August 2019 and almost an increase of 4% compared to 2,679 sold in July, according to the Orlando Regional Realtor Association.
