You may ask what the Marketing & Business Administrator Juliana Gonzales is doing running the kitchen of a trendy restaurant in South Beach. Juliana Gonzalez, from Puerto Rico, may have concluded her bachelor’s degree in Marketing but she wasn’t aware at the time what her true love was: Gastronomy!

Juliana Gonzales: Executive Chef at Barceloneta Restaurant South Beach

Didn’t take long for Juliana to finish also her studies in Culinary School. Now she also has a degree in Culinary Arts at Johnson and Wales University (Miami, FL). She worked at many international restaurants, including the 2 Michelin Star La Broche Sergi Arola in Madrid. In 2004 she became Chef at Mosaico Restaurant in Miami. By 2006 she was Chef de Partie at The Setai Restaurant. In 2008 Juliana Gonzales worked at Sushisamba at Lincoln Road. She brought all that international multi-culture culinary experience to Barceloneta Restaurant in South Beach, where she holds nowadays the position of Executive Chef.
