On Wednesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced the second part of his Safe. Smart. Step-by-step plan to reopen the state. DeSantis said 64 Florida counties can reopen bars and movie theaters while retail stores can go to full capacity. Reported News-Press.

The change takes effect today – Friday, June 5.

“We have an opportunity to move forward in a safe, smart, step-by-step approach,” DeSantis said, adding the state was ready to “inch into Phase 2.”
