The long-awaited and promised high-speed train between Miami and Orlando finally made a “test” arrival at Orlando airport. The start of operations of the so-called “Miami-Orlando bullet train” was scheduled for before the pandemic, but it suffered several delays in its work.

The train named Bright Blue 2 has entered Orlando Airport’s new Intermodal Terminal Facility, according to information from Brightline. The train was out of passengers and the trip was a test.

The arrival of the train at the Orlando airport was a milestone and revolutionized transportation in Florida. Completion of works and start of operations are scheduled for 2023. The trip will take approximately 3 hours between Miami and Orlando.

Brightline already operates routes from Miami to West Palm Beach, via Fort Lauderdale.
