Not long ago, South Beach was known for the place where action takes place in the Sunshine State, in the south part of Miami. The north part of the city didn’t have the same appealing and were not visited as much. But today, things changed a lot!
South Beach has no more room for more buildings and looks like the new luxury global buyer are looking for places not that noisy. While South Beach remained a location to party, the north started to attract some attention.
One of the most wanted neighborhoods in north is Sunny Isles Beach, also known as The Florida Riviera. Some of the most luxury Miami condos for sale are there. One of them is the famous Porsche Tower, where owners may park their cars inside the apartment, thanks to a high-tech unique car elevator.
Another luxury oceanfront condo in Sunny Isles Beach is Mansions at Acqualina. The Mansions at Acqualina was delivered in 2015 in a Mediterranean-style architecture. The bulding offers almost 80 units ranging from $5 million to $40 million and count a pool, a spa, a movie theater and a virtual golf center as amenities.
Sunny Isles Beach History
In the 60s and 70s, Sunny Isles Beach’s was filled by motels and visited only by people who lived far away from the beach, and wanted to enjoy their weekends. By the 90’s, the city commission started allowing developers to build taller oceanfront luxury buildings.
Nowadays the place has some of the most luxury condos in the world. Besides Porsche Tower and Mansions at Acqualina, there you will find also Regalia Miami, Residences by Armani and Ritz Carlton Sunny Isles.
About the neighborhood
Residents enjoy Sunny Isles Beach because it is pedestrian-friendly and nearby Fort Lauderdale. Still, besides being in a quiet place, residents can get to the action in South Beach in minutes driving a car.
