After five years and roughly $200 million, Pharell’s the Goodtime Hotel is almost open. The new Miami Beach Hotel will open this week. This is a 266 key-hotel at 601 Washington Avenue. It will feature about 100,000 square feet of public spaces, a 30,000 square feet restaurant and pool club, a 45,000 square feet ground floor retail, a gym and library.
The hotel will be delivered and operated by Pharell Williams and David Grutman. In fact, this will mark the first hotel for Grutman. The hotel has been in the works since about 2015. Right now is a great time for the opening since South Florida is becoming so popular.
The hotel and property were designed by Morris Adjmi, Fulk and landscape architect Raymond Jungles. Each hotel room ranges from 200 square feet to 1,000 square feet.
