A new Downtown Miami condo will come with an incredible amenity: built in services by Airbnb. In Miami, only a few projects have been approved for short term rentals. Therefore, whenever a new tower comes with these perks, it is a big deal for the community.
District 225 will be a 37 story building that will feature 343 units. The Downtown Miami condo will be located next to Miami Dade College. In addition, it will offer move-in ready condos starting at $350,000. The units will range in size from studios to two-bedroom apartments. The exterior of the building will be by Siegler Suarez Architects, and interiors by Meshberg Group.
The tower will be ready in 2023. The goal of this new development is to emphasize “flexible living.” This means, allowing residents to live in their condos part-time, while letting them generate income when they are away.
District 225 will have a partnership with Airbnb. This makes the project stand out from other short-term rental opportunities in Miami. The partnership with the rental giant will allow residents to have a very seamless experience when they are renting out their units. In fact, the building will have additional staff to handle short term rentals.
Although there are currently other projects that use Airbnb, District 225 will be the first one incorporate it as part of their initial plan and design.
