Showcase Home – Para of Homes Orlando
This year’s Showcase Home is Casa de los Reyes by Turning Leaf Custom Homes. The property is located in the heart of Winter Park. What is the Parade of Homes
The Parade of Homes is a branded showcase of new and remodeled homes held in several regions throughout the United States. Alternatively known as the Tour of Homes in some locales, it is often presented by the local Home Builders Association (“HBA”) or Building Industry Association (“BIA”). Some locations allow tours for free; other locations require an admission ticket to view the homes. Some locations offer awards for the best homes. The first home-tour organization was established in Minnesota in 1948, and is still th largest in the nation.
In Orlando, the Parade of Homes is promoted by The Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA), the authority, educator and promoter of the housing and building industry. It is a free, self-guided tour.
The Parade usually shows single-family homes, condominiums, duplexes and townhomes.
