A futuristic penthouse apartment within Florida’s Porsche Design Tower, complete with a private car elevator and a four-car sky garage, hit the market Monday with a $17.5 million price tag.

Dubbed a “trophy mansion in the sky,” the five-bedroom spread is on the 52nd floor of the 60-story development geared toward car enthusiasts and located in Sunny Isles Beach.

A grandiose double-height living room is the center of the home and is finished with 21-feet high ceilings, a wall of windows overlooking the ocean and a towering wall of wine that provides plentiful, and ornate, storage for bottles.

The home is “dressed to the nines,” and “turn-key ready,” according to listing agent Alex Miranda of the Alex & Joe Team at Compass.

Additional amenities include two terraces, an outdoor kitchen and a private plunge pool, but the home’s stand-out features are those that live up to the building’s name.

With the option of taking a private car elevator right from the ground floor up to the penthouse, the spread is “super private and super discreet,” Mr. Miranda said. “It’s almost like a single-family home, on the 52nd floor.”

And at 1,128-square-feet, the home’s in-unit private garage is larger than many apartments, and its glass walls will allow future residents to admire their motors from the comfort of the living and media rooms.

The penthouse’s current owner keeps a pair of Rolls Royces, a Range Rover and an Audi, according to Mr. Miranda, who declined to comment on the owner’s identity.

Records with PropertyShark show that a Colorado-registered entity paid $10 million for the property in the spring of 2019.

Since their acquisition last year, “they did some upgrades to the property. They finished parts of the property,” Mr. Miranda said.
